This is another excellent painting by Maurice Pierse. I have bought other paintings by Maurice in the past and I find they stand out among other paintings I have. They really capture a mood as well as the subject that I find fascinating, every time I look there is more to see in each artwork. As the artist explained to me, this work was a palette knife city scape inspired by Donald Tuskey. This technique really gives the work texture and interest. I would highly recommend Maurice Pierse artwork as professionally executed quality works that will stand out in any collection.
